Dani Shukri is a drummer and beat programmer. Born in Damascus 1988, he started drumming at the age of 13 taking after his father, and played in various local metal bands. He studied at Syria’s higher institute for music while playing in various jazz and indie projects. He started his current band Tanjaret Daghet in 2010. They moved together to Beirut in late 2011, where they have since kept playing and recording together while collaborating with numerous local and international artists.
